The Ely Center News

The Ely Center has begun to compile a list of web links that we feel might be useful to our clients and families. These include publications, interactive activities, community resources, informational sites, as well as blogs, weblogs that are written by people or families of those with Aperger's, autism, or related social-cognitive deficits. Rather than construct a traditional links page, we have set up an account on the "social-bookmarking" site deli.cio.us. This free-to-use site allows easy addition of new sites, organization of sites according to categories or "tags" and networking among users to facilitate discovery of new sites. We would like you to be part of our network! To learn more about setting up a deli.cio.us account, click here. To simply view the Ely Center's links, click on "Links" under "Resources."

The sites are organized according to categorical "tags." To view all of our tagged sites regarding conflict resolution, for example, simply click "conflict-resolution." You can then also see all other users' sites within that tagged category by clicking "view all" at the top of the page.

If you would like to set up an account on deli.cio.us, you can then share sites with us! Add us to your network: click "your network," search for "elycenter," then click "Add." Once we are part of your network, you can click the for:username tag provided for you when saving a bookmark, and the bookmark will show up on our "links for you" page. You can also type in for:username (helpful if we are not already part of your network) and the link will be sent to us.
