The Ely Center is proud to introduce you to an innovative new product to treat articulation disorders called Speech Buddies. We have recently partnered with a company in California called Articulate Technologies and we are going to be the local distributor of these new, handheld devices. Speech Buddies have been specially engineered to help Speech-Language Pathologists supplement traditional therapy with tools that provide tactile feedback. These tools aid patients with the most difficult to treat articulation sounds: /s/, /sh/, /ch/, /l/, and /r/.

Speech Buddies have been clinically tested and are FDA-listed tools that can help accelerate treatment of articulation disorders by providing consistent and accurate phoneme-specific tactile cuing. This technology and the simplicity of the tools will help individuals obtain fast phoneme production and maintain momentum between therapy sessions.
